Toy dogs were bred as companions and lap dogs. They tend to be quite delicate but are extremely intelligent.
Toy dogs are devoted to their owners and can easily be spoiled with too much attention. They can be quite noisy and over-protective of their owners. They can be quite fussy eaters and should not be pampered too much.
